Rating: 4/5 (Really liked it)

Official Summary: “It has a dark past – one in which a number of humans were killed. A past that caused it to christen itself “Murderbot”.

But it has only vague memories of the massacre that spawned that title, and it wants to know more.

Teaming up with a Research Transport vessel named ART (you don’t want to know what the “A” stands for), Murderbot heads to the mining facility where it went rogue.

What it discovers will forever change the way it thinks…” – Goodreads

Review: Really loving this series. Short to the point pure science fiction. You get really attached to Murderbot from the first page, it is what it is and is unapologetic about it. Yes, it is ingrained in its program to save people but you also get the sense that it loves its ‘job’. No matter how bored it says it gets doing the job you can sense that it gives Murderbot a purpose.

It was really nice to meet other bots/ART. You got to see more about how they ‘live’ and exist in a way. Yes, they all have their own purposes but at the same time, you feel like they want to do more. Feel almost human in some senses, yet clearly not in others. Murderbots and ART interaction together was funny at times but also very real.

(Wow that was painful saying it instead of he)
