I am no blogging expert. I am learning as I’m going. Some things I fuck up, somethings I pick up. Most things I just wing it. Either way here 1 thing I’ve learnt as a book blogger part 31;
This isn’t really a tip or anything but it is something I have learnt. I fucking hate it when you can not figure out where a book is in a series. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind long series. Simon Scarrow roman series, I have stuck with that for like 12 books so far, plan on more. But I swear some books just make it difficult to figure what number it is in the series, just to trick you to buy it.
Getting home and looking it up, to then figure out it’s like the 5th in the series. Is beyond annoying. This is more focused on physical books, one thing I love about Goodreads, is you can look up the series. But when you are hitting the charity shops and trying to figure it out while some person is breathing behind you, can be hard.
It would be so much easier if the author numbered them, then again they might be doing a Star Wars scenario….strangely random

THIS IS ONE OF MY BIGGEST PET PEEVES AS A READER! Why do publishers not put on the spines/covers/ANYWHERE if it is part of a series and if so, what number it is?! WHY. Ugh the number of times I have accidentally requested next-in-series on NetGalley is astounding.

I think the worse I did was a book in a charity shop, it was like 12th or 16th in the series. It sounded really good as well. Was so miffed.
