Official Summary: “There is a naked man walking in circles in freezing snow.
Whispering a strange chant over and over, he does not respond to questions. Touch him and you are filled with terrible visions of pain and suffering. Up close, an odor of homelessness and manure assaults your nose. On close inspection, you find evidence of torture, both old and bloody fresh. Save him from the cold. Care for him. Nurture him back to health and you might discover why his former captors wore biohazard suits when handling him. He is a man who infects.
10 years after surviving the alien assault on his farm, Messenger’s family is confronted with the mystery of the naked man. Why is he here? How did he get here? Is his arrival linked to their discovery of aliens gathered underground alarmingly close?
Inquiring minds need to know.

Review: I just really liked how out there and unique the world is that being built by the Author. No subject is left untouched. The Author also is not afraid to change parts of the world hugely, by taking away or adding completely new elements. It does take a little while to find where the second story in the series links with the first. The story is interesting enough for you to read without having to read the first. Reading the first just adds more details.
Be interesting to see where the Author takes the rest of the series. How the whole alien, Chosen comes into play.
(Loved that postman quote)
