Review: This has to be one of the better books I have read by James Patterson. I will have to check out his co-author Howard Roughan. The story flowed so effortlessly, there was plenty of twists and turns, but they were extremely well done. You saw most of them but you had a few sneaky ones here and there.
Don’t get me wrong there was a lot happening, but at the same time, it didn’t feel over the top. It didn’t feel like they were throwing stuff at you for the sake of it. To have extra filler.
I think one of the main things I like was the relationship between the two main characters. They were thrown together due to the situation but neither of them moaned or cried about it. They got on with it and worked together. Trevor isn’t a hero, he may have some training but his goal was never to be the hero. Yet time and again he put his life on the line to save a person he just met. It showed a lot about his character.
Great review.i have not read a Patterson novel in a while, but I might check this one out.
