Review: It was a very unique story, haven’t read anything like it before. It had some similarities to most sci-fi but the whole imprinting thing was really well done. It added that don’t mess with a mother vibe to the whole story. Which made the fighting more badass. Which bring me to the fighting, it was really well done and clear. Plus as realistic as possible given it in a sci-fi universe. She wasn’t invincible.
The different races were done really well too. There wasn’t a huge amount of description into every little detail, but it wasn’t needed. You could clearly picture them in your mind.
The shifting about from past to present at 30% was a little confusing, didn’t feel very clear. Really felt like the story could do with being proofread at the minimum. Which is a shame, if it didn’t keep finding errors it would have rated higher.
