I am no blogging expert. I am learning as I’m going. Some things I fuck up, somethings I pick up. Most things I just wing it. Either way here 1 thing I’ve learnt as a book blogger part 19;
What are you on about? Well, have you noticed when you are reading a book and no matter what book, somewhere in the pages books are mentioned? I have noticed this a lot more since I started blogging. Oh look they mentioned books again, oh one of the characters is a book nerd? Or wants to be a writer? Love for books. It everywhere. It a miracle that you don’t come across someone mentioning books.
I always like it when Authors drop a ‘this is my character favorite author’ and you just know they are lying. And very sneaky.
It nice really, gets a little old but nice. Showing the support for the community and love for their passion. Have you guys noticed this or have I just gone book mental?

I think they usually give hints about the personality and the future of the characters through the books the characters read. Like Paper Towns that even though I hate that book, the main character gave hints at the end of the book for what she thought to do at some point, and she did it I indirectly through a book 🙂

I’m reading one where the author dropped one of their other books into it. That felt a little iffy to me. But overall, I also enjoy the “book drop.”

I’ve seen it a couple of times too. For the most part I think it’s cute. Now if they were to launch into a full out ramble on why it’s a ‘good’ read…..

hehe it does get a little old, especially when it seems out of character (like the super cool it-girl who somehow loves reading), but I do always relate to bookworm characters lol, so I guess it’s swings and roundabouts 😉

I have never noticed it before but you are right! Most books I read have at least one character who loves books. And every once in a while you get a specific title drop 😀 I love title drops when I have read the book and love it too 😀

If I don’t know the book, I refuse to look it up. Don’t need to add more to my TBR pile lol
