Where will she discover her loyalty to lay, with love or with duty?” – Goodreads
Review: The world building was really well done, you got to see a lot in a short amount of pages. The magical elements and the way the eleven was done was really good. But the dreaded but. I just did not like the main relationship in the book. I am not one for romance but damn I could have done better than them.
This book is a taster into the main series. Will I read the main book? Most likely because it isn’t based on the same relationship/main characters.
(Spoilers)
He has gone to the elves to learn about the creatures in his future kingdom. He came to learn about his ‘people’. All of a sudden he bonded with one, learning goes out the window. He doesn’t want to know more about her or her people, or even what effects being in his world could have on his ‘one true love’. We are bonded and he straight into the sex, not into what is bonding? What does this mean? What happens now? Who are you? It straight into okay now I have a wife who I’ve just met, cool. It just didn’t come across natural or loving.

Too bad about the relationship in the story. Hopefully the series is good! Great world building is such a big deal!
