Review: This is the first book that I have read by the Author. I know I started in the middle of the series but I found the CDs/book in a charity shop. Couldn’t pass it up. I liked it. Was a slow burner, you had to be patient throughout this book. A lot of it was a waiting game because of so little evidence and what they could go on.

The forensic side was very detailed which I liked, something it is gone into or brushed over, depending on the Author’s knowledge. She sure knew what she was writing about, which was nice to see.

Like the rest of the book, the ending was a slow burner. I was expecting a big explosion at the end. It was mean it got you in the feels but it wasn’t overall shocking. Mainly because I think the main character wasn’t really involved all that much in the ending it felt a bit lacking because it happened to other people.
