Official Summary: “How do you fight an enemy you cannot see?
Mitch Cooper is the captain of the legendary…or infamous…Krim Sprinter. After new, yet apparently influential, science officer Violet Maciera joins the crew, a routine flight turns deadly. Harassed by an unknown, and unseen, enemy, Mitch will have to trade in favors and use all the influence he can exert to stay ahead of the unseen enemy. Will it be enough to stop a ship that threatens to single-handedly topple the Intergalactic Military Forces?
Discovery is the first book in the Niakrim War Series. If you like fast paced space adventures with engaging, and quirky, characters, you will love Discovery.” – Goodreads

Review: This is the second book I have read by the Author. Warp Three was the first which is a short based in the same world. I have to say I am really enjoying the Author’s work. The only real thing I have to say against it is that it felt too short. Because it was so short, it felt a little squished. If that makes any sense. I would have liked to have seen more.
The world building was good though, you did get a sense of a much bigger universe. Also, it did touch a bit on the wide range of alien species. You also got a sense how big the fight is going to become in the next book of the series. Looking forward to see more in this world being built.
I’m glad you enjoyed it despite being so short and feeling crammed. It takes a skilled author to make the length of a novel work to their advantage and make the best of it.
Wonderful review!
