Review: This book was very WTF once it got truly started. I was getting a little bored with Peyton and her relationships. I just found I didn’t really like her or know her. I had no emotional attachment to any of the characters. I didn’t really care either way what happened to anyone. When stuff did happen to them I just went ‘oh okay’ that was different. Didn’t see that coming. It wasn’t OH NO!
I kind of liked it. Which just makes me sound like a creep. I kind of liked where it ended up, it wasn’t a go happy book or any happy endings. It was just a twisted story of evil and people. I personally would have classed it more horror than anything. The writing was really on point.
One of the characters is a lesbian. I liked that it showed part of her story and didn’t focus on just the one main character.
Trigger warnings of rape and suicide thoughts. So please bear that in mind when you read this.
