Review: First off I don’t like romance, it not my go to genre. With that being said I actually enjoyed this book. It was intriguing and kept me hooked from the beginning. I wanted to know more, needed to find out what happened. The fantasy wasn’t a big element at all in this book. The characters were human but with extra, you had ingene and agene people too. In extra I mean different shading to their skin, highlights to their hair and so on.

Be warned there is a love triangle. It was very well done, it wasn’t the standard love triangle you normally get. It had many layers and intrigue to it. I didn’t find it annoying at all, which was the feeling I thought I would have felt once I realize there was going to be a triangle.

Loved the family tree’s the Author added to the pages every so often. It helped with keeping track of who was who.

(Disliked)

The story felt like it jumped a bit too much. Not from year to year I mean within the chapters. One second she was doing something, the next something else. It didn’t feel smooth when that happened.

Hated the ending, who likes cliffhangers? It did feel a bit rushed/jumbled too. How did they not guess who the person was? I guessed as soon as the p word was mentioned. It seemed so obvious to me.

Would I recommend it? Yes, if you enjoy romance.
