Review: This has to be one of the best crime books that I have read in a while. I was hooked from the first page and couldn’t put it down. The whole concept was very well played out and told in a very unique way.

The two main ‘good’ guys are very human and complex. In their core they are good, but they have a lot of layers that are bad or just broken. I still don’t really know whether William was trying to save a life, or connect with someone like him. Or to feel different by saving people. It not really clear his real motive. He quiet a complex character, be interesting to see how he fights his ‘demons’. Bernie is less complex in the sense of you know who he is. But it still feels like he has just as many layers. Either way two very solid characters.

I liked how the story played out, it wasn’t your standard murder mystery. You got to see many different view points as well, which added nice sides to the story. Also it was good to see that the killer didn’t want to be bad, he couldn’t control it.  Really interested to see where the next story leads.

There were some double spacing formatting issues. Nothing majorly over the top. 268 – first line there was big gap.

Would I recommend it? Yes, very much so.
